"Oak Tree, Mt Diablo" was shot one warm October day in 2000. While it appears that this is a snow scene, it is really the contrast between the tree and bright sunlight that caused this effect.

As a California native and recent transplant to Washington, I find I am fascinated by the occasional snow. This shot was taken in my back yard, March 2002

"Sunrise in Seattle" is the view from Manchester, Washington looking toward Seattle, which is slightly to the left. Just to the right of this image is Mt. Rainier although it wasn't visible this November morning in 2001.

"New Hampshire Stream" flows behind a rest stop on a New Hampshire Highway. This photo was taken in 2000.

"Sunrise in San Francisco" was taken early one October morning in 1997. The view is from the Ferry Building, facing the East Bay and the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge. My boss and biggest fan, Melinda Denton, swears that the seagull was handpainted in the picture.
